Optima Plate started with a quiet evening that didn't feel quiet enough.

I'd had one of those days where the noise just stays in your head  emails, errands, group chats, the lot. I sat down on the couch, turned off the overhead light, and realised I had nothing soft to look at. Just a dim room and my brain still going
